Buy These, Not Those.

• AIRVOICE WIRELESS - We strongly recommend using Red Pocket Mobile, instead. 
• AT&T PREPAID - AT&T Prepaid is much like regular AT&T plans, including price. Choose Cricket Wireless instead.
• BLACK WIRELESS - This prepaid to too small, use Red Pocket Mobile instead.
• BOOM! MOBILE - Another prepaid that's a bit too small. Use Red Pocket Mobile instead.
• BOSS WIRELESS - While plans start at $5, Tello gives you better features at the same price.
  
• CONSUMER CELLULAR - Consumer Cellular could be perfect or too expensive. Read about it on our Reviews Page.
• CREDO MOBILE - Socially conscious service, but Tello is cheaper.
• FREEDOMPOP - For better low-price plans go with Tello or Red Pocket Mobile.
  
• GOOGLE FI  - Fi uses Wi-Fi first which we find unreliable. Choose US Mobile instead.
• GOSMART MOBILE - Avoid. GoSmart is limited to 3G speeds. Get a good 5G prepaid like US Mobile.
• H2O WIRELESS - Low-price leader and you get a choice of the AT&T or Verizon networks.
• JITTERBUG - Phones, plans and services specially designed for seniors.
• JOLT MOBILE - This prepaid is rather small, use Red Pocket Mobile instead.
• KROGER WIRELESS - Kroger Wireless is only a good choice if you get gas at Kroger and affiliated stores. Otherwise, go with  Red Pocket Mobile.
• LIBERTY WIRELESS  - Not a bad choice but Red Pocket Mobile offers you a choice of the big 3 wireless networks.
• LYCA MOBILE - Lyca Mobile is OK but Red Pocket Mobile offers a lower price and a choice of 3 wireless networks.
• LIVELY - Phones, plans and devices designed for the benefit for seniors including and all-in-one medical alert device that works away from home.
• METRO BY T-MOBILE - Metro by T-Mobile is an alternative to T-Mobile's own prepaid at a lower price. Metro Review.
• MINT MOBILE - Mint only saves you money with plans that are 3 months or longer. If that's a problem, try Tello instead.
• MOBILE X - You may not know what you'll pay until they can predict your usage. For a known plan try Twigby, instead. 
• NET 10 - Net10 has been discontinued.
• NOW MOBILE - The Prepaid version of Xfinity Mobile. We avoid "Wi-Fi first" carriers and recommend US Mobile instead.
  

• PAGE PLUS - Page Plus has no 5G coverage. Use Simple Mobile, instead.
• PURE TALK USA - Uses the AT&T Network. Plans start at $20. We have no opinion on Pure Talk.
• SELECTEL WIRELESS -  We have heard nothing about Selectel. US Mobile is a known prepaid that's as good or better.
• SIMPLE MOBILE - Simple Mobile plans allow FREE calling to 69 other countries and FREE international roaming in 16 Latin America countries including Mexico. Simple Mobile Review.
• STRAIGHT TALK -  They offer Hot Spots and Wireless Home Phone Systems and membership in Walmart +, but a bit overpriced. Find more on our Reviews Page.
• TING MOBILE - Ting Mobile is owned by Dish Wireless but not as good as using Gen Mobile, instead.
• T-MOBILE PREPAID - T-Mobile Prepaid plans are priced similar to their 'regular' plans. Choose Red Pocket Mobile, instead.
• TOTAL WIRELESS - Total is a little pricey. Try US Mobile instead.
• ULTRA MOBILE - Ultra Mobile is similar to other T-Mobile-owned Prepaids. Go with Tello, instead.
• UNREAL MOBILE - Unreal requires a 3-month payment for their best rates. Use US Mobile, instead.
• VERIZON PREPAID - Similar to Verizon's 'regular' plans. Consider Twigby, instead.
• WALMART FAMILY MOBILE - Unless you love everything Walmart, Go with Tello, instead.
